Haiti
Ground Truth Solutions has been active in Haiti off and on since 2013/2014 when we undertook a pilot project looking at the ongoing response to the 2010 earthquake. We returned in 2017/2019 as part of a broader effort with the OECD to track implementation of the provisions of the Grand Bargain.
In September 2021, with financial support from the H2H fund and in collaboration with UN OCHA, UNICEF and others we launched a five-month project to discover how people affected by the 2021 earthquake perceive the post disaster response.
This latest initiative has given rise to a lot of interest and a desire on the part of the humanitarian actors on the ground to extend and deepen GTS’s work in the country into 2022 and beyond.
